Seeing the best picture has never been simpler. The 8-bit IPS panel produces vivid colors that look great from every angle, while Adaptive-Sync technology ensures smooth gameplay, a vitally important feature for 4K.

Scenery mode makes grass greener and skies bluer, which is ideal for picture slide shows, while Cinema mode cools and saturates the colors to draw you deeper into movies. The main interface is populated with icons that activate each GameVisual mode. You can also select modes by right-clicking the DisplayWidget icon in the taskbar. In both cases, the transitions between modes are instantaneous. Fine tuning options for each mode are exposed through Advanced Settings, which serves up sliders for everything from brightness and contrast to RGB levels and pixel response.

You can tweak the picture to suit your personal preferences or to compensate for the natural variance that occurs in LCD manufacturing.

While DisplayWidget makes it easier to change GameVisual modes, manual switching still requires a degree of mindfulness. App Sync puts the process on auto-pilot by intelligently changing modes based on your preferences. You assign specific modes to individual applications, and App Sync makes sure the monitor is in the right mode when those programs enter the foreground.

I have attempted to switch the 2 cards and even plug them in a new port of the motherboard, but nothing changed. The only thing that I can mention happened recently before this issue appeared is the Windows 10 update , which on 2 occasions bugged during the multiple reboots and I had to use a Windows 10 USB stick to return Windows to the latest working version. This update was actually installed correctly after this issue begun. This might have nothing to do with it, but I thought I'd mention it.

Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. I have tried to rollback the driver, but it's not possible : the option is grayed. Looks like the driver hasn't been updated recently The only one of the 2 Windows updates which have been installed was the Security update KB I've uninstalled it, nothing changed.

I have also attempted to remove the driver. I have uninstalled the peripheral deleted the driver as well and rebooted : nothing changed. I have attempted to repeat the steps, install the latest driver Windows 8. It also seems like sometimes during this process, when rebooting the computer, the update KB reinstalls itself. I hope it's not a problem, especially since uninstalling the update didn't change a thing earlier.

So far, nothing helped, the problem is still the same. I don't really want to have to reinstall Windows entirely because Microsoft made a bad update I was about to call it a night when I simply told Windows Update to download the recommended drivers, since the driver being used was the Microsoft basic display driver. Surprisingly, Windows Update did download the same driver that was present when the problems had started but now everything's fine?
